The solution
The existing batch-operated brine treatment system had reached its performance limits. The client required higher treated brine capacity, significantly improved calcium and magnesium removal, and better process control without compromising operational reliability.
At the same time, chemical consumption and operating costs needed to be reduced while maintaining consistent product quality.
The result
The upgraded installation increased treated brine capacity from 600 to 780 m³/h while achieving calcium concentrations below 3.5 mg/l and magnesium concentrations below 0.1 mg/l. Process optimization also reduced chemical consumption, simplified operation and improved long-term reliability, resulting in lower operating costs and more stable plant performance.
The partnership
Titan Salt worked closely with the client’s operational team to analyse the existing process, identify improvement opportunities and implement the upgrade with minimal impact on production. By combining process expertise with practical engineering, the project delivered measurable performance improvements while extending the value of the existing installation.
